The arrival of fish for the Zeeland Fish Auctions takes place from seaward, but is also brought overland, from other harbours. There is a great diversity in the kinds of flatfish, roundfish and prawns.

From seaward 4 cutters and 3 Eurocutters bring into Vlissingen:

• sole
• plaice
• turbot
• brill
• cod
• gurnard
• whiting
• sea-perch
• cuttlefish
• dab


In Breskens 2 large cutters and 10 smaller ones and Euro cutters bring:
• sole
• plaice
• turbot
• brill
• cod
• gurnard
• haddock
• shrimp

A regular arrival of fish for both auctions takes place overland from various harbours in the Netherlands and other countries.
